We deliver innovative technology and processes to impact our clients’ operations by increasing productivity through Real-time 3D monitoring of the logging stage, significantly reducing core logging errors, and improving the transfer of information and knowledge among technical teams and stakeholders within the drilling-logging-modelling space.
Our Approach New
To address the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic, Vektore’s team has strengthened its support services to clients for their fieldwork practices on core orientation and structural logging by providing webinars and remote assistance. This approach has contributed to clients’ continuous improvement policies and career development of their geologists despite current travel restrictions.
Structural Vectoring: At the Core of our Work
By applying Structural Vectoring®, we obtain the ideal structural logging strategy and related data extraction frequency for each project – leading to a sound 3D geological model. The spatial orientation of mineralization-related structural features – conceptually portrayed as the mineralization vectors – can be used as geometrical indicators of grade continuity, and in some instances, as extensions of mineral bodies. We call this process Structural Vectoring, and it connects mineralization vectors with drilling design and mineral body geometry. Therefore, Structural Vectoring provides the basis for an improved drilling design and mineral discovery.
